Pendle Dogs

Pendle Dogs, a local charity established in 2013, is dedicated to finding caring homes for dogs in need of help. Operating primarily on a foster-based model, they ensure each dog receives thorough assessment and care in a nurturing environment before being listed as available for adoption. Beloved Pets is delighted to support Pendle Dogs. Happy Cats Hyndburn

Happy Cats is run by Andy Richards in Accrington, Lancashire which is both a rescue centre and charity shop, Andy rehabilitates and rehomes stray and injured cats all year round. Happy Cats has a Facebook page that is a place for everyone to post about lost and found cats, funny or interesting cat stories or to publicise cat rescues and forthcoming events. Everything cat, really!

The rescue centre, which is only small, is finding that more cats are being abandoned. Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary

Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary is a major Lancashire-based charity located in Edenfield, Ramsbottom.

Founded in 1957, it is one of the largest sanctuaries in the North West, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of dogs, cats, rabbits, and small animals, as well as providing lifelong sanctuary for horses, donkeys, and farm animals.

The sanctuary cares for over 1,300 animals each year, relying entirely on public donations and support from volunteers.

NO we do not offer Communal Cremation, at Beloved Pets it is not about cost it is about your Pet, a communal cremation is where a large volume of all types of pets are cremated together at the same time. Quite often your pet will be placed in freezers and plastic bags and the ashes sent to landfill.

There are generally two types of pet cremation available: Individual Cremation and Communal Cremation.

What Is Communal Cremation?
Communal cremation is where multiple pets are cremated together at the same time. Because pets are cremated collectively, it is not possible to separate the ashes, and as a result ashes are not returned to the owner.

At Beloved Pets, we have made a clear and considered decision to only offer Individual Pet Cremation.
This means:
Every pet entrusted to us is cremated individually and with love, care, and dignity
All cremations are carried out individually never communally
Where ashes are returned, we guarantee they are solely those of your own beloved pet
We fully guarantee the identity and integrity of your pets ashes

If You Do Not Wish to Have Ashes Returned
If you choose not to have your pet’s ashes returned, we still carry out an individual cremation. In this case, the ashes are respectfully scattered on our private countryside land, providing a peaceful and natural resting place.
