Our Story
We have always been pet lovers and had pets all of our lives, this story starts with a beautiful Bichon Frise called Zac. Like any pet he wasnt just a pet he was part of our family.
As the years passed, Zac grew older and started experiencing health problems. Despite his best efforts, we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye. It was a heart-breaking moment for the entire family, and we wanted to remember Zac in a special way, however this proved difficult.
After leaving Zac with the vets, we had to wait nearly three weeks for his safe return, it was heart breaking not knowing where he was. We wondered if he had been lost and if it would be his ashes that we received. Eventually we got Zac’s ashes back and realised he had only been cremated a couple of earlier, this upset us to think where had he been for the previous 2 weeks. We took them home and placed him on a shelf in our living room. We could now cherish the memories of our loyal friend whilst keeping his spirit close to our hearts.
In the time that followed we shared and listened to stories from other people who felt exactly the same way that we did. It was amazing how many people had the same feelings we had.
We realised that this does not need to be the normal anymore, and that you and your pet should be able to receive the compassion and dignity of a personal service they deserved and chose- not to be put through the the pain of what you are told to do because it is the norm.
We decided that we can support and help families coping with the loss of a pet. Everything that we do is for you and your pet and to make the pain you feel a little easier, we promise to offer you a personal service from the very first contact, help you with ensuring your wishes are carried out and a return of your pets ashes within 72 hours including home collection and return.
“I love animals and feel very strongly that people should not be allowed to buy a pet if they are not able to look after it. Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”
