Yes. Beloved Pets is an Independent, Fully Licensed, and DEFRA/APHA‑approved pet cremation service, operating in full compliance with all relevant animal by‑products regulations.

We are regularly inspected to ensure every cremation is carried out correctly, ethically, and to the highest standards, so you can feel completely confident that your pet is treated with dignity and respect at all times.

At Beloved Pets, we understand that your pet is not just a pet, but a much-loved family member, and that trusting someone else to care for them at this time is incredibly difficult. Our team understands just how heartbreaking this loss can be, and how much trust is placed in us.  Many of us have experienced this loss ourselves, and we never forget what that feels like.

Every pet in our care is treated with love, dignity, respect, and compassion, just as we would want for our own. Pets can show signs of pain or discomfort in different ways, and these signs are often subtle or gradual. Changes in behaviour or routine can sometimes indicate that something may not be quite right.

Some common signs that your pet may be experiencing discomfort include:
Changes in appetite or drinking habits
Withdrawal from usual activities, hiding, or a reduced interest in play
Behavioural changes, such as confusion, irritability, or unusual reactions
Difficulty standing, walking, or moving around
Increased incontinence, during the day or night
Changes in sleeping patterns, such as sleeping much more or much less than usual
Vocal changes, including increased vocalisation or sudden quietness in normally vocal pets

It is important to remember that not all behaviours automatically indicate pain. For example, cats may still purr when they are uncomfortable, and some pets may vocalise in ways that sound concerning even when they are settled or relaxed. Behaviours should always be considered in context, especially if changes are ongoing or worsening.

Beloved Pets is not able to offer clinical consultations or diagnose pain, as we do not have access to your pets full medical history. If you are worried about your pets comfort or health, we would always recommend speaking with your regular veterinary practice, who are best placed to provide medical advice and guidance.

At the end of the day, no one knows their pet better than you do, and the decision to have your pet euthanised at home is always a personal and individual choice. You are not required to inform your regular veterinary practice of your plans if you choose not to.

If you feel you need medical advice, reassurance, or a clinical consultation, we will always recommend speaking with your vet, as they hold your pets full medical history. As a dedicated pet aftercare provider, Beloved Pets does not have access to clinical records and cannot offer ongoing veterinary diagnosis or treatment advice.

If you wish, we can inform your veterinary practice of your pets passing on your behalf. This is done by email a few days after our visit, allowing your vet to update their records and helping to prevent unexpected contact at a later date that could cause further distress.
